2. Hosting and server logs
This website is hosted in Germany. When you visit, the server records IP address, date and time, requested page, referrer, browser and operating system in log files for security and error analysis (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). Logs are deleted after 14 days at the latest.
3. No cookies without your consent, no tracking by third parties
This website sets no cookies of its own accord and loads no fonts, maps or videos from third-party servers. The exceptions are the reach measurement described in section 4 and the Google Ads measurement described in section 8, which runs only if you agree. Links to Instagram, Facebook and Google Maps only transmit data once you click them and leave our site.
4. Reach measurement with Umami
To measure page views we use Umami, an analytics tool that runs on a server operated for us by our web agency (umami.andreas-knof.de) – not on an external analytics service such as Google Analytics. Umami sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device. It records the page visited, the referrer, the approximate country of origin, browser, operating system and screen size. Your IP address is not stored; it is only used briefly to generate an identifier that cannot be traced back and that changes daily. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (interest in improving the website). You may object to this processing at any time at info@deichgraf-event.de.
5. Google reviews
On the home page we show public reviews of our Google business profile. They are not loaded from Google by your browser: our web agency retrieves them at regular intervals through Google's Business Profile API, stores them on a system it operates and delivers them from this website. Visiting the page therefore does not open a connection to Google and sets no cookies. What is shown is the first name and the initial of the surname, the star rating, the text and the month of the review. This is based on our legitimate interest in presenting customer opinions (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). Anyone who has written a review can change or delete it on Google at any time; it then disappears here at our next retrieval. If you would like us to remove a review sooner, write to info@deichgraf-event.de. The links to all reviews and to writing a review lead to Google; data is only transmitted once you click them. Google's privacy policy applies to processing by Google.
6. Event enquiry and contact
If you send an enquiry via the form, by email or by phone, we process the details you provide (name, contact details, event details) to answer your enquiry and prepare a quote (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR). You receive an automatic confirmation email. Data is stored for as long as necessary to process the enquiry and in accordance with statutory retention periods. Emails are sent via our mail server hosted in Germany.
7. Spam protection (ALTCHA)
The form uses the self-hosted proof-of-work method ALTCHA. Your browser solves a small computing task; no data is transmitted to third parties and no cookies are set.
8. Google Ads: measuring enquiries (only with your consent)
We advertise with Google Ads. To measure which ads lead to an event enquiry we use the Google tag of Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) – only after you have agreed in the notice at the bottom of the page. Without your consent nothing is loaded from Google and no connection to Google is made. With your consent Google sets a cookie (such as “_gcl_au”) on your device, reads the identifier of the ad click from the address and reports to us and to Google that an enquiry was sent. Data such as IP address, browser and device data is also transmitted to Google, possibly to the USA (Google LLC; EU–US Data Privacy Framework). Personalised advertising and audience lists are switched off; we do not use Google Analytics. Legal basis is your consent under Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR and Section 25 (1) TDDDG. You can withdraw it at any time with effect for the future: use “Cookie settings” in the footer and choose “Decline”. We remember your choice for twelve months in your browser (localStorage). More: policies.google.com/privacy.
9. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR), and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, e.g. the Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen.
